=== Backup Files
A backup of each page is saved to that page's ".bak" file when you edit and save a page. To use a page's ".bak" file for recovering the previous version, open the file in a text editor, copy the relevant section, and paste it into the current page (in the [[b WikiWriter]] edit box or in your text editor). It's good practice to use [[b Preview]] while editing to check on formatting and changes, and use [[b Save]] only when you're satisfied with the editing session. Otherwise, using [[b Save]] repeatedly during the editing session on a page will give you only a small-step, last-change backup as a safety net.

=== Packaging and Distribution
Distribute [[b WikiWriter]] sites by compiling the [[b WikiWriter]] site into a single file with an .mht extension. If your site uses graphics they will be included in the compiled file. The compiled file can be Zipped to achieve up to 75% compression.
